Yesterday LZ6 and LZ5 and LZ4 went to the Museum on the school bus. In the bus we got crackers and when we got there we went to the volcano house. The tv turned on and then the house shook as the volcano erupted. It was fun but it wouldn’t be in real life!
We went to the Museum on Tuesday because we are learning about insects. I liked the dinosaur room and there was a long necked dinosaur. I had a great time. The dinosaurs were made out of bones. They were so big they touched the ceiling. I liked the T-rex because it had sharp teeth.
LZ6 went on the bus to the Museum and we liked the bugs. The stick insect was fun and the stick insect was in a tank. I got to hold it, it was cool because it looked like it was a branch. It had spikes on its back. The bees had flowers in a tank and they were flying.
We went to the Museum to learn about bugs. My favourite thing was the stick insect because it was amazing. I got to hold it and it was ticklish. It danced on my hand and it was cute. It was long and skinny and I wasn’t scared.
Yesterday LZ6 and LZ5 and LZ4 went to the Museum. We went there by bus. My favourite thing from the Museum was the volcano. I went inside the volcano house and inside there was an earthquake! I felt a bit scared because the whole room was shaking – the lights were shaking, the floor was shaking too!!! When I went outside I saw a volcano but it wasn’t real, it was only fake.
On Tuesday LZ6 and LZ5 and LZ4 went to Auckland Museum on the bus. It was a long drive to get there. LZ6 wanted to learn about bugs. My favourite insect was the centipede. The centipedes are really long and the centipedes have a lot of legs. They can be tiny or enormous. When we pulled the drawers open we saw the centipedes.
LZ6 went to the Museum with LZ4 and LZ5. We looked at a stick insect on Tuesday. It tickled my hand. When it got on my hand it was soft. It looked like a branch. It was camouflaged.
On Tuesday LZ6 and LZ4 and LZ5 went to the Museum. I learnt about bugs then I saw some lizards. There were two lizards, one was green and one was dark. They live in the tree. The dark lizard was scared and they were camouflaged because I could hardly see them.
LZ6 went to the Museum with LZ4 and LZ5. We saw the stick insect and it was cool. It felt ticklish and it made me laugh. It had long legs and the body had spiky bits.
LZ6 went to the Museum. We went on the bus. We went to the Museum classroom. The queen bee is bigger than the others. They make honey.
LZ6 went to the Museum to look at bugs. I saw a giant moa. It is a bird but it can’t fly. It is extinct, that means they are dead and there are no more left in the world.
LZ6 went to the Museum. I liked the birds because they fly. The birds are stuffed at the Museum because some are dead. The eagle was there, so was the pukeko and the little birds too.
I went to the Museum with my class to see insects and I saw a volcano. The volcano is cool and I went inside the house and there was a movie about earthquakes. When the movie started the house moved. The floor shook and the lights went on and off.
We went to the Museum to learn about bugs. I got to hold a stick insect. It was ticklish. I was not scared of it. “Wow this is amazing” I said.
LZ6 and LZ5 and LZ4 went to the Museum. My favourite was the bumble bees because they were fat and furry. They were in a tank and they were flying around like an aeroplane.
LZ6 went to the Museum to look at bugs. I saw the butterflies in the glass box. Some were big and some were small. They were orange and black and white and they were beautiful.
We are such talented artists in LZ6! We spent time on our self portraits to make them as detailed as possible, then coloured carefully our skin colour using 'people' crayons, before using textured rubbing plates to create cool background effects. They are now hanging up in LZ6...come and see them!
