Letter writing!

As part of our unit of inquiry on communication we wrote individual letters to children at another school...and the other day we all received some letters back!  It was very exciting to get our very own letter addressed to us and to find out some more information about our new friends in room 9!  We spent some time reading them and sharing them with our buddies in class.  Next up we will be sending emails to room 9 and comparing and contrasting the different ways of communicating.

Thank you letters to Tip Top!

After our wonderful trip to the Tip Top Ice Cream Factory last week, we thought it would be a good idea to send some letters to say thank you!  It was our first time writing letters so we talked about what we should put in them and then practised in our writing books before we published them on paper.  We posted them to Tip Top on Friday so hopefully they will have them now!
