Lots of certificates this week!

Look at all the certificates LZ6 were awarded at assembly this week! Well done to Natalee for winning our excellence award for concientious effort; Vivian for coming second in cross country; and Harry, Jed, Matthew, Ricky, Ryan and Logan (absent) for getting 100% correct in the spell-a-thon test! Wow LZ6 - what a clever class we have!!

This week I couldn't decide on a single diary entry winner so have put up 2 to share - one by Faatimah (left) and one by Matthew (right). They are both great as I can really sense their personal voice in the writing - well done you two!!

Howick Historical Village by Matthew

Yesterday LZ6, LZ5, LZ4 and LZ1 went to Howick Historical Village. First we went in the bus. I was sitting with Harry and we were sitting at the back of the bus. My favourite part was the toys. Some of the toys were wood. It was fantastic in there. We went in the straw house, it looked old.

Happy birthday Matthew!

One week into the new term and already we are celebrating a birthday! Happy 7th birthday to Matthew this week. As you can see his mum was very busy making the most beautiful and delicious cupcakes for everyone to share - thank you!

Our latest Kings!

We have had some trouble loading photos recently so it has taken a few weeks to get our latest Kings up here! Matthew, Augustino, Alvin and Dylan all did a great job being King...who will it be next week?

Museum story by Matthew

LZ6 went to the Museum with LZ4 and LZ5. We saw the stick insect and it was cool. It felt ticklish and it made me laugh. It had long legs and the body had spiky bits.
