Grumpy Bear play!

We have been reading our big book 'Grumpy Bear' and decided it would be good to make it into a play! We made character masks and practised reading with expression and using actions to make it interesting to watch. After we videoed it we shared it with the senior classes in the studio! We are all budding actors in LZ7!!

Look at our awesome cake collages!

We have been reading a big book called 'The Snake Cake' where a Queen wanted a special cake for her party. Funny enough it was also Queen's birthday weekend so we decided to design our very own cakes! We added texture to our paper by using rubbing plates and different colours then we cut out shapes for our cake and collaged them. We decorated them to look beautiful! Now they are all up on the wall for everyone to see!

Grumpy Bear!

Today we made a video of our big book "Grumpy Bear". We each had to be a character out of the book and we had head bands to wear. Nikail was Grumpy Bear and he was really good at it. It was hard to stay quiet during filming but we did it! It was lots of fun to retell our story this way.
