Ice cream by Meera!

Yummy in my tummy!  We ate some delicious ice cream.  Today we made ice cream.  We used sugar, milk and vanilla.  The flavour was like yummy vanilla.  And when we licked the ice cream bowl it was....sugary.  When we were mixing with the electric beater it felt ziggy and wobbly.  In the end we put chocolate buttons in the ice cream and also we put in chocolate syrup.  The chocolate looked like dark mud.  Lucky it didn't taste like mud!

Well done to Denzael and Meera!  Both were awarded certificates at assembly this week - Denzael won the class excellence award for his fantastic effort to work independently and Meera was awarded the school enviro trophy for her efforts at helping to keep the school clear of rubbish.  Both of you are doing a fantastic job - keep it up!!

Well done to Meera for getting our Excellence Award at assembly on Friday!  This was awarded for her fantastic ANZAC story, which was informative and interesting to read.  Keep up the wonderful work Meera!

When Elmo went home with Meera he had a great time reading books, going for rides in various toys and getting to know Meera's family! Thanks for looking after Elmo so well Meera, and for sharing your photo news with the class!

Look at our Greedy Cat artwork!

At last weeks Junior assembly LZ7 shared some artwork. We had painted pictures of Greedy Cat after reading some of his stories. We loved mixing the paint to make different colours and make it look like fur! Meera and Frances were fantastic presenters and explained the process of our pictures to the audience. We think our art looks wonderful!
