Eid celebrations at Faatimah's house

A couple of weeks ago it was Eid and some of our families in LZ6 had big celebrations with their families and friends. I was lucky enough to get invited to Faatimah's house for a special lunch along with Mrs Lal and Miss Lee. This photo was taken as we were leaving to come back to school. Faatimah and her family looked beautiful in their special outfits. Thank you so much for sharing this with us Faatimah!

Diary entries this week...

This week I couldn't decide on a single diary entry winner so have put up 2 to share - one by Faatimah (left) and one by Matthew (right). They are both great as I can really sense their personal voice in the writing - well done you two!!

Howick Historical Village by Faatimah

On Tuesday LZ6 went to Howick Historical Village. Soon as we got there we ate some morning tea and afterwards we went all around Howick. My favourite part was making butter by stirring the handle and we had to be patient. After the butter turned more yellow and when the butter was fully made we ate some butter on biscuits. It was a fun day.

Museum story by Faatimah

LZ6 went to the Museum. I liked the birds because they fly. The birds are stuffed at the Museum because some are dead. The eagle was there, so was the pukeko and the little birds too.
