ANZAC day stories and art!

April 25th is ANZAC day. When it is ANZAC day we remember the people that died in the war. On ANZAC day people wear a flower called a poppy. The people in the war died for freedom for their country. They fought in a meadow of poppies and when they were buried the poppy flowers looked like the blood of the soldiers that died. Now there is a parade and a man plays a special song with a trumpet.

  1. I have enjoyed reading your ANZAC Day stories. My class is writing reports about ANZAC Day too and I think they should read your stories to get more information to include in theirs. Well done LZ7.
