We love reading and especially buddy reading! We often pair up with our friends in LZ5 and share our books with each other. We take turns to read and listen and help each other out if we get stuck on a word!
Last week we were looking at 2 dimensional shapes and we made some out of straws and string. We had to think very carefully about the shape we had chosen and how many sides it had and whether they were the same length. It was lots of fun and we made diamonds, squares, triangles, oblongs, hexagons and octogons!
Look at all the 2 dimensional shapes we found in the playground! Shapes are all around us wherever we are! Thanks to Mr V for putting these together in photoshop for us!
We have been reading the big book called 'Ratty tatty cats' by Jill Eggleton. We made our own ratty tatty cats and a cityscape scene for them to live in and displayed it in the Earth Studio. You can look at each cat and read a little bit about them in the following individual posts...
